Sizing Information for Sloops Jeans

How do I properly measure the waist size and should I order 1" larger?

Stand on a level surface and using a tape measure record the waist size at the belly button level. Even if you choose to wear your pants under the navel this is the proper technique. Allow room to insert your hand between tape measure and your waist. We recommend ordering you jeans one inch wider then this measurement as suspenders ...not belts... hold your jeans in place. Talk about comfort! Hip measurement is not necessary as Sloops are designed to fit snugger in the seat then most other jeans, as suspender wearers often are plagued with wide bellies and no butts. We have made every effort to allow both the Sloops™ jeans and Holdup Suspenders to perfectly blend into the ultimate in casual style for mens wear. How do I properly measure the inseam for my pair of Sloops jeans?

Ensure that the crotch of your pants are not lower then you desire and do the following: With legs slightly spread measure from the intersection of pant inseams down the side of the pants. If shoes are worn during measuring then record inseam length to 1" off the floor. If shoes aren't worn, then measure length to the floor. These jeans are true cut for length and designed to not bunch at the seat, waist or crotch area. Comfort and style are the buzz words most often expressed from our Sloops customers.
